May 2023, in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, TLHR Human Rights League volunteers bahra sediq and ashna saber participated in a training course on how to conduct the electoral process and fair voting, where the course discussed the definition of elections, and then discussed the role of civil society organizations.
The role of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq in caring for civil society organizations and the issue of election integrity was also explained.
The role of the Electoral Commission in ensuring the integrity of the elections.
Group discussions and presentations were held.
